Traditions in the Kitchen – Healthy Indigenous Cooking for the Home Cook

You can cook delicious, healthy meals while learning the cooking skills that make mealtimes simple and easy!

The Indigenous Curriculum features traditional foods, as well as foods from many other cultures. Traditional recipes, such as Three Sisters Stew, are featured and ingredients, such as elk, are approached in a new way. Many other flavourful recipes, like hummus and blueberry muffins, are introduced.

The following is an excerpt taken from the Food Skills for Families: Indigenous Families participant handbook.
