The Food Skills for Families program engages key partnerships to expand the reach of the program and to enhance linkages with Ministry of Health, Health Authorities, other Ministries and other healthy eating and food security programs to better serve the needs of vulnerable populations.

The Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program provides coupons to low income families and seniors who are enrolled in participating cooking and skills building programs.
As part of the partnership with the Ministry of Social Development – Family and Youth Partnership Program, Food Skills for Families programs are offered to to young parent families in five communities across BC; Victoria, Kelowna, Vancouver, Surrey and Prince George.
Fresh Choice Kitchens is the Community Kitchen Program of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. It was formerly known as the Vancouver Community Kitchen Project and has been promoting and supporting community kitchens for over 14 years
The Produce Preservation Program helps BC families and communities improve nutrition, become more food secure and trigger new job opportunities. Workshops are fun, hands on events teaching people how to harvest, can, dry, freeze and store fruits and vegetables. By learning how to safely preserve foods British Columbians can enjoy home grown and locally available fruits and vegetables throughout the year!
The Shapedown BC program fosters healthy lifestyle changes with families that are learning about healthy eating and active living.
